About the Author: Stephanie Wildman served as John A. and Elizabeth H. Sutro Chair at Santa Clara Law and directed the school’s Center for Social Justice and Public Service before becoming Professor Emerita. Her books include Brave in the Water, illustrated by Jenni Feidler-Aguilar, 2021; translated into Spanish as Valiente en el Agua by Cecilia Populus-Eudave; Privilege Revealed: How Invisible Preference Undermines America 2d (2021) (with contributions by Margalynne Armstrong, Adrienne Davis, and Trina Grillo); Race and Races: Cases and Resources for a Diverse America 3d (with Richard Delgado, Angela Harris, Juan Perea, and Jean Stefancic) (2015); Social Justice: Professionals Communities and Law (with Martha Mahoney and John Calmore) (2013); Women and the Law Stories (with Elizabeth Schneider) (2011). She is a member of the Writers Grotto and loves to plan treasure hunts for her grandchildren.
About the Illustrator: Estefania Razo has a Bachelor of Graphic Design degree from the University of Guadalajara. She is passionate about illustration, books, and art in general. During her free time she enjoys reading children’s books with her nieces and watching movies accompanied by her cats.
About the Book: Eight year old Bella has anxiety. Small things aren't too small for Bella. But with the help of her colorful dog, Blue, and her grandma, Gigi, who has a flair for all things French and over the top hats, Bella can handle everyday's twists and turns. Blue is the companion children dream of having. He's the therapy dog that plays paddy-cake to calm Bella's nerves and take away her blues.
About the Author-Illustrator: Berrie has been passionate about children's literature since she was a little girl, and has fed her desire by becoming a children's librarian and by pursuing a career as an illustrator and writer of children's books. Berrie's illustrations have appeared in Ladybug Magazine. Berrie is the Illustrator Coordinator for the Eastern PA SCBWI. Berrie is an active contributor to the Eastern PA SCBWI blog. Bella & Blue is Berrie's debut children's book.
